Who We Are
We are a study and discussion group offering a safe space
to explore sexuality as well as all life's issues in a
spiritual context. The "group" has been meeting every week
at the
Lesbian & Gay Community Services Center, in New York
City, for 15 years. It is in no way meant to replace church
going, but rather be a helpful addition for those who want a
place to discuss issues and topics they may not feel
comfortable discussing in a regular church setting.
In one of our recent meetings, we discussed the purpose
for a
Gay and Lesbian Christian Science Group. If you'd like
to know more about us, check out our
journal
archive of notes from recent meetings. The archive is a
good place to look for notes from previous weeks. Please
have a look and give us some feedback to let us know what
you think. As we think these are topics of interest to all,
we hope to soon offer a page of responses sent in to us by
readers.
If you're just curious about Christian Science and would
like to know more, or are a long time Scientist we'd love
you to come by. We also welcome anyone spiritually minded
with thoughts to share, regardless of religious background.
Over the years we've had many visitors, ranging from
Anglicans to Zen practitioners. |
